Abstract

In Desterrados: crónicas del desarraigo (Exiles: Chronicles of Uprooting), Alfredo Molano weaves together, through a testimonial and ethnographic narrative, the harsh reality in which the armed conflict in Colombia has buried the slow lands, the peasants, and the most human aspects of life, turning nature into a direct witness to how violence exiles, kills, suffocates, and abandons.
