  • Sebastian Fuentes-Medina

Master's degree in Translation and Interpretation Research - Universitat Jaume I (Spain). Master's degree in Classical Studies from the University of Buenos Aires. Studied Latin and Greek at the University of Chile. His research interests focus on literary translation, classical studies, and, in particular, exploring the role of women in archaic times. He translates literature using translation concepts such as recreation and creativity (he is an advocate of infidelity in translations). He also explores the deconstruction of archetypes such as the witch through feminist translation. He is currently working on a new methodological approach to literary translation entitled Feminist Trancreation.

  • Felipe Bettiol Krul

PhD candidate in Literature - Literary Studies at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Master's degree in Literature - Literary Studies at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and Bachelor's degree in Literature - Portuguese and English at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). He is part of the research group "Literatura em rede" (CNPq) and the research project "A prosa de ficção brasileira dos anos 1920: história literária e editorial" (UFPR).

  • Mariana Esparza-Velandia

Social worker at the Industrial University of Santander. Master's student in Education for Inclusion and Disability - Minuto de Dios University Corporation (Colombia); member of the Research Group on Human Trafficking [Dignitas] - UIS. Her research interests focus on the defense and protection of human rights; disability; the prevention of human trafficking; and the development of training and psychosocial care processes with diverse population groups at the individual, family, group, and community levels.

  • Heidy Alegría Guitierrez Leon

Doctorate in Translation Studies from the University of Ottawa. She has a master's degree in Education and Translation and experience in university teaching. She directs the SETRA-UIS Research/Translation Seedbed, is a member of the CUYNACO group, and has been an advisor and jury member for degree theses. Her areas of work include translation, community interpreting, and applied ethics. She has participated in international conferences and is the author of relevant publications in the field of translation and interpreting.

  • Sebastian Giraldo Medina

Professional in philosophy and literature and master's degree in literary studies. He has worked as an editor for companies such as Editorial Televisa and Grafos Soluciones. He has also written for various media outlets, including La Patria, Las dos orillas, and El Espectador. In addition, he is co-author of the book La penúltima verdad: narrativas del conflicto armado en el eje cafetero (The Penultimate Truth: Narratives of Armed Conflict in the Coffee Region), published by the University of Caldas. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in creative writing at the University of Seville.

  • Alencar Guth

Doctor of Letters from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and graduate in Letters - Portuguese/English from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). He currently teaches Portuguese and English at the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR), where he coordinates the research project "Language Education at the Federal Institute of Paraná." He is interested in the areas of language policy, Portuguese for speakers of other languages, applied linguistics, and discourse analysis. He has gradually ventured into literary writing.

  • Marta Osorio de Sarmiento

PhD in Education from the University of Granada. Postdoctorate in Narrative and Science from the University of Cordoba. MBA in Leadership from IEPM and Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from the University of La Sabana. Leader of the CIBELES research group and currently Dean of the School of Education and Social Sciences at FUJNC.

  • Isabella Serrano Buitrago

Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and university lecturer dedicated to teaching English and Portuguese as foreign languages. Her academic career has been shaped around a situated pedagogical practice, with a special focus on the links between language and identity. Her research interests focus on the study of narratives, the phonetic aspects of English and Portuguese, and the development of teaching strategies. She is also interested in the fields of interpretation and translation, integrating them as part of her academic reflection.

  • Maria Fernanda Rivera Villamizar

Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages with an emphasis on English. With studies focused on text translation and extensive knowledge of different languages such as Portuguese and Italian. Currently pursuing a master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at UDIMA University.

  • Gabriel Lopes Fontanelli

Master's degree in Literature from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and bachelor's degree in Languages – Portuguese/English from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). He has conducted research in the field of Brazilian literature, focusing on modernism, the work "Macunaíma," and anthropophagic aesthetics, with an emphasis on the relationships between national identity, modernism, and popular culture, as well as studies in intermodality, focusing on the dialogue between music and literature.

  • Paola Rincón

She holds a degree in Spanish and Foreign Languages from La Salle University. She has focused her training and experience on areas such as linguistics, cultural studies, and literary studies. She is currently in France pursuing studies related to French language and culture. She has participated in institutional and academic program evaluation processes, which has strengthened her commitment to educational quality and critical reflection on academic practices.

  • Martha Sarmiento

Social communicator and journalist from the Grancolombiano Polytechnic. Specialized in Organizational Communication from the Grancolombiano Polytechnic and Master's Degree in Health Education from the Juan N Corpas University Foundation. She is also Director of the Cibeles Radio Station of the School of Education and Social Sciences of the Juan N Corpas University Foundation. I currently work as Head of Academic Management at the School of Education and Social Sciences.

  • Diana Velasco Contreras

Foreign language teacher with solid training in Spanish, English, and French. Master's degree in University Teaching from the European University. Participates in research projects and academic events focused on rurality, contributing to the advancement of pedagogy in diverse educational contexts.
